Camera Body
Martin recently made the switch from his Canon 5DSR DSLR to the Canon R5 mirrorless camera. The R5 comes equipped with a 45MP image sensor, which excels at capturing intricate details in both landscape and nature photography. Additionally, this camera offers an impressive dynamic range, particularly beneficial for shooting scenes with high contrast.
Lenses
To complement his camera, Martin utilizes one of his three RF lenses. He employs the Canon RF 14-35 f/4L IS USM for wide grand vista shots, the Canon RF 24-105 f/4L IS USM for capturing scenes with a field of view similar to the human eye, and the telephoto RF 100-500 f/4.5-7.1L IS USM to focus on landscape details.
Camera Backpack
All of Martin's photography equipment fits neatly into his Shimoda Action X 50 backpack, leaving ample space for his additional accessories, clothing, and outdoor gear. This backpack is not only lightweight but also robust and roomy, ensuring a snug fit for all his essentials.
